What we collect

If you sign up here: your email address, the date, and which form you used. No tracking cookies, and we don’t store your internet address or anything about your browser. To keep bots off the list, Cloudflare’s Turnstile checks your browser when you sign up; we don’t receive or keep what it checks.

Why

To send you one email when Mach Works goes on sale.

Where it’s kept

In our own Cloudflare account until launch. Then it moves to Lemon Squeezy, our store, which sends that email. We never sell your address, and nobody but our store ever gets it.

Leaving the list

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Or write to [email protected] and we’ll delete your address.

The app itself

Your books live on your own computer. We don’t collect them, and we can’t see them. Mach Works goes online only to activate your license key and confirm it once, about a month after you buy; to free a PC’s place when you deactivate it; to send email from your own account, including any reminders, follow-ups or recurring invoices you set to go automatically; and to check for updates if you turn that on. Activation sends your key and your computer’s name to our store, Lemon Squeezy. The check a month later sends your key and the activation number our store gave that PC, not its name. The update check sends nothing about you. Like any connection, each one shows your internet address. If your PC doesn’t have Microsoft’s WebView2, setup downloads it from Microsoft. Mach Works itself collects no analytics or crash reports, and receipts are read on your own computer.
